---We survived the onslaught of tornadoes popping up all over the place. A more-than-three-inch deluge of rain overnight has me cranking up the basement fans and dehumidifiers. So far so good, but more of this I could do without. The worst part is the weathercasters on TV with their nonstop fancy radar--certainly heightens the apprehension.
