After quite a while resting on my more or less laurels (past listings) it's time to get a move on and put up some more listings. My goal is five books every day from now on. This should be achievable, but not according to my past performance.

These books get listed in three places: on Amazon, Biblio, and Half. Books without ISBNs (older books) generally will not be listed on half. My prices might vary between these three places. Amazon and Half tell me competing prices, so I peg mine on them. Thus, if the lowest price for Deadly Percheron is $98 on Amazon, I might peg mine at $95. If it weren't my only copy maybe I'd be more reasonable. In fact, I think my Biblio listing is more reasonable.

Going forward (and possibly backward), links to titles of books will send you to the main Amazon listing. My listing will be somewhere amidst the other maybe 237 listings. This is where my photo of the book can be seen, which will probably be a better one than the one Amazon features. Half doesn't let me attach my own photo—at least I don't think it does. Photos are also at biblio. Lots of older listings still don't have photos. Nor updated prices.

I've been lousy at selling direct via email. Sorry about that, if you've tried me. Listing through the major portals keeps me honest—also prompt and reliable.

---Word from Gauntlet:
Solicitation for Masques V from Gauntlet Press

Gauntlet is pleased to offer the final volume of the Masques series to be edited by the late-Jerry Williamson, MASQUES V. Before he fell ill, Jerry assembled 90% of the stories in this 465-page anthology. When he was unable to continue with the project co-editor Gary Braunbeck contacted a number of authors who were either contemporaries of Jerry or those he had mentored. As a result we were able to add stories by Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, Jack Ketchum, Poppy Z. Brite and Ray Garton to the anthology. Clive Barker also agreed to provide the cover art (this can be found on the Gauntlet Press website @ www.gauntletpress.com). The complete Table of Contents is as follows:

---I’m sure I will get an order out to Gauntlet eventually. This certainly looks like a book worth having.

New Upcoming Horror from SAROB PRESS.

As you may know, I took a well deserved (at least I think so) break after we
published SOLAR PONS: THE FINAL CASES and GHOSTS AND FAMILY LEGENDS but I am
now ready to announce our first two books for 2006.

DAMAGE by LEE THOMAS
A new unrelenting adult horror novel by the Bram Stoker Award winning author
of STAINED.
“In the suburban community of Pierce Valley the laws of nature are breaking
down. The skies above the city are black with storm. Emotions are bent and
shattered. A man suffers blackouts, waking to find bizarre symbols he’s
constructed during his sleep. A woman commits acts of atrocity at the
behest of an unlikely messenger. A mother soothes her daughter, a child
that dies years ago. Neither the living nor the dead can escape this place.
Something dark is emerging from Pierce Valley … And it’s bringing DAMAGE.”
Dust Jacket Wrap Art by Paul Lowe.

THE NIGHTMARE FRONTIER by STEPHEN MARK RAINEY
A new adult horror novel by the author of BALAK and THE LEBO COVEN.
“The town of Silver Ridge, West Virginia, has disappeared from the face of
the earth. A vast chasm prevents any living soul from crossing into the
community. From above, only an impenetrable layer of mist marks the spot
where the town once existed. And inside Silver Ridge, the nightmare is just
beginning. Confined by this unimaginable barrier, the townspeople find
themselves confronted by the denizens of a distant dimension; horrifying
creatures intent on transforming the valley town into an outpost hospitable
to their existence. To these extra-dimensional travellers, human beings are
nothing more than pests to be exterminated. Russell Copeland and Diana
Harrington are determined to resist the invaders … but as they face death to
restore Silver Ridge to its rightful place on earth, they find that their
true enemy might not be the incomprehensible invaders, but an insidious evil
whose origin is closer to home than they can imagine.”
